So this is uh…this is what..my night was based around? Escaping this. But I couldn’t, she started texting me while we were at the bar. So…this is what I said. I’m not perfect, but I try to stand up for marginalized people of all sorts when it comes up in conversation or argument. I’m no Cornel West or Kate Bornstein, but I try to be an ally as much as my knowledge permits me to.
